2024-2025 Election

Nominations for the 2024-2025 GHDS leadership election are NOW OPEN!

Do you know someone whose expertise and values should be represented on the GHDS’s Board, Elected Committees, or as a GHDS Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the TDA House of Delegates? 

Would you personally like to play a leadership role in the GHDS?

Service on the GHDS’s Board of Directors, Elected Committee and as a GHDS Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the TDA House of Delegate represents a major contribution to the Society. Nominations are encouraged on behalf of and directly from GHDS members interested in serving in a volunteer leadership position.

The positions, that are to be elected and to begin service on June 1, 2024, include:

• GHDS Board of Directors

  One-Year Term
  President-Elect (ascends to President and then Immediate Past President positions)
  Secretary-Treasurer
  1st Vice President
  2nd Vice President
  Editor

  Two-Year Terms
  Director (3 positions available)

• GHDS Elected Committees

  Nominating Committee Member - (4-year term that ascends to Chair position)
  Judicial Committee Chair - (One-Year Term – Prefer someone who has previously served on the Committee)
  Judicial Committee Member - (Three-Year Term – Three positions available, training required)
  Peer Review Committee Chair - (One-Year Term - Prefer someone who has previously served on the Committee)
  Peer Review Committee Member - (Three-Year Term, various positions open and represent regional areas and specialties, training required)

• GHDS Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the TDA House of Delegates
  
  (Please note that the term of the GHDS Delegate and Alternate Delegates is one year following election.  Those elected in this year would serve at the TDA House of Delegates held in May 2025.)
