Nominations Now Open for the 2026–2027 GHDS Leadership Election!

Do you know a GHDS member whose expertise, leadership, and values should be represented on the GHDS Board of Directors, Elected Committees, or as a Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the TDA House of Delegates? Or are you personally ready to take on a leadership role within the Society?

Serving on the GHDS Board, an Elected Committee, or as a GHDS Delegate is a meaningful way to contribute to the dental community and shape the future of organized dentistry in Greater Houston. Nominations are welcome from, and on behalf of, GHDS members who are interested in serving in these important volunteer leadership positions.

Elected Positions (Terms Begin June 1, 2026)

GHDS Board of Directors

• One-Year Term

  • President-Elect (ascends to President, then Immediate Past President)

  • Secretary-Treasurer

  • First Vice President

  • Second Vice President

  • Editor

• Two-Year Term

  • Director (3 positions available)

GHDS Elected Committees

• Nominating Committee Member – 4-year term, ascends to Chair

• Judicial Committee Chair – 1-year term (prior service on the committee preferred)

• Judicial Committee Member – 3-year term (3 positions available; training required)

• Peer Review Committee Chair – 1-year term (prior service on the committee preferred)

• Peer Review Committee Member – 3-year term (multiple positions available; training required; positions represent regional areas and specialties)

GHDS Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the TDA House of Delegates

• One-Year Term

  • Those elected will serve at the 2027 TDA House of Delegates, held in May 2027.
