Dr. Claytor is a lecturer on dentistry and drugs. He lectures nationwide on opioids, marijuana, burnout, perfectionism, and addiction. He’s teaching 2 courses on controlled substances. In this course, you’ll learn data and best practices on how to prescribe and monitor opioids in light of the national opioid epidemic.
This course applies toward the 2 TSBDE continuing education (CE) hours in controlled substances requiredfor dentists holding a Drug Enforcement Agency registration to prescribe controlled substances. Dentists can also apply the CE hours toward the 8 CE hours allowed for risk-management each license renewal period.

In the 2nd course with Dr. Claytor, you will learn how to manage patients' pain responsibly, and communicate about proper use of prescribed opioids for pain.
This course applies toward the 4 TSBDE controlled substances continuing education (CE) hours required for dentists providing direct patient care. Dentists can also apply the CE hours toward the 16 technical and scientific CE hours required for license renewal.

- Go to Browse Courses, then click “Add” for this course.
3. Don’t forget to download the app!
- Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the Dental Concierge app.
