As Greater Houston Dental Society members, please consider to serve populations of the  underserved and vulnerable individuals in Greater Houston and other areas in our state.   The Dental Health Committee coordinates opportunities for us to give of our time and talents.

      •  Center for Pursuit – Dates TBD in March 2nd or 9th and in April 6th and 13th. Houston Health Dept Project Saving Smiles, Spring 2024. 

The Houston Health Dept through Project Saving Smiles provides dental screenings, dental sealants, fluoride varnish, and oral health education free of charge to second graders attending schools with ≥50% free and reduced lunch program rates. For the 2023-24 school year, Project Saving Smiles plans for eight missions in the following school districts.  I

The TDA Smiles Foundation operates a mobile dental clinic that travels around the state providing charitable basic dental care to Texans with limited resources and/or access to care. Click here to see the list of available dates and to sign up as a volunteer.
