This introductory OSHA training program guides staff through OSHA regulations and steps for compliance and may be used for new employees as the first session on OSHA compliance and/or current staff who have not received basic training.
It covers the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard which includes exposure, control plan, personal protective equipment, HBV, HIV, post-exposure evaluation and follow up as well as the Hazard Communication Standard, which includes Material Safety Data Sheets and hazardous chemicals. Information for the dentist or compliance manager including study materials, checklists, and a quiz will be provided.
Ms. Jill Yeager has been working in dentistry for over 30 years. She has presented programs for the Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society and UTHSC Dental Branch Houston and works with offices on compliance issues (OSHA, HIPAA, Radiation Safety & CPR). She understands the realities of compliance because she faces those challenges on a daily basis.
